The spreadsheet contains details about each plant species to help you plan
your project, including ideal soil moisture and light conditions.
Native plant plugs will be available from approximately
June 15 until September 15, or until sold out.
Purchase
Purchase plants in the following ways:
1) Place an order, then pick up in Amherst (email us a list of species and quantities
or use our Order Form).
** Until mid-May, we only accept orders of 150 plants or more.**
2) Browse by at the greenhouse in Amherst during open hours (TBD for 2025)
3) Visit us at Farmers' Markets and pop-up sales (TBD for 2025)
Price
$3.50 each for 1-6 plants
$3.00 each for 7-24 plants
$2.75 each for 25-100 plants
$2.50 each for 100+ plants
Price includes sales tax
A reimbursable deposit of $3 per tray is charged if plants are taken home in our reusable flat trays
Greenhouse Location
Our greenhouse is located at 363 County Road KK in Amherst, Wisconsin.
We share a driveway with the neighboring business;
when you turn into the shared driveway, keep left and head back to the greenhouse.
Hours
Our regular business hours will begin in June; hours are TBD for 2025.

Markets and Sales

Product
We grow forbs, grasses, and sedges suited to a range of site conditions.
Our plants are generally about 6-12" tall, grown in biodegradable containers that are 3.5”- 4” tall and 3” - 4” wide at the top.
Bulk orders may come in 50-cell reusable plastic growing trays with cells that are 5” tall.
We encourage you to bring your own receptacle to carry your plants home (i.e. garden flats, cardboard boxes, clothes hampers).
Generation Native Plants will charge a reimbursable $3 deposit if plants are taken home in our reusable flat trays.
Payment
Payment is due at the time of pickup; we do not accept advance payment.
We accept cash, check, Venmo and PayPal (both @GenerationNP).
Credit card payment is only available by registering your card with PayPal.
